Sisterhood events are fun ways to bond with other Thetas in the Omega chapter. We love going to football games, the movies, and San Francisco, for example. Thetas even travel to Los Angeles each fall for the Cal-USC or Cal-UCLA football game.

In the 2009-2010 academic year, Thetas have:

Thetas and Sigma Chis before their 90's-themed dance performance for philanthropy, 2010.

From invites to date parties to fraternity exchanges, Thetas certainly know how to have fun! Two to three times a semester, we rent out a club in San Francisco exclusively for Thetas and their guests. The best parts about invites are the themes which allow us to showcase our creativity.

Every fall semester starts off right with our cowboy-themed invitational, "Showdown." Other past invite themes include Planet Hollywood, the "T Party" (where Thetas & their guests dressed in creative costumes that started with the word "T" including everything from teachers to Twister boards to Tetris), Rewind '09 (where costumes included anything reminiscent of 2009), and "Oh, the places you'll go!"

Throughout the semester, Kappa Alpha Theta participates in exchanges with fraternities. These are more casual social events where we enjoy activities such as ice cream socials, foosball challenges and sushi nights.
Exchanges are a great way to make new friends in the Greek community while doing something fun.
In 2008, Theta started a new tradition by having a sisterhood exchange with another sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, where we bonded over making greeting cards for other Greek chapters and playing charades. In 2009, Theta continued this tradition by hosting a brunch exchange with Alpha Phi. Thetas believe in making friendships across the Greek community!
