KAΘ Recruitment Q&A

Interested in becoming a Theta?

Each fall, Kappa Alpha Theta participates in formal recruitment, a week long event where Potential New Members have the opportunity to attend events hosted by each of the 12 Panhellenic sororities at UC Berkeley. In the summer before the fall semester, you can register for recruitment here.

Visit www.calgreeks.com to learn more about the UC Berkeley Greek community!

Please contact our Vice President of Membership, Kelly, at kellyslclark@berkeley.edu for more information on recruitment eligibility, attire, etc.

Is there a resource that introduces UC Berkeley sorority life and the 12 Panhellenic chapters?
Yes. Each year, the Panhellenic sororities release a brochure detailing Cal Greek life. The brochure includes a welcome from UC Berkeley's Dean of Students, a detailed Q&A section including qualifications for participating in recruitment, and Panhellenic's substance-free policy. You can download the 2009 brochure here.
I've read through the brochure but still have a couple questions specifically about Theta. Whom may I contact?

Our Vice President of Membership, Kelly Clark, is an affable and outgoing Theta who would be happy to answer your questions. You may email her at kellyslclark@berkeley.edu.

If you are a Theta alumna and would like to recommend a Potential New Member to the Omega Chapter, please see KAΘ's national guidelines here to download the Letter of Reference form.
