Each fall, Kappa Alpha Theta participates in formal recruitment, a week long event where Potential New Members have the opportunity to attend events hosted by each of the 12 Panhellenic sororities at UC Berkeley. In the summer before the fall semester, you can register for recruitment here. Registration for Panhellenic sorority recruitment opens on June 1, 2010.

- Is there a resource that introduces UC Berkeley sorority life and the 12 Panhellenic chapters?
- Yes. Each year, the Panhellenic sororities release a brochure detailing Cal Greek life. The brochure includes a welcome from UC Berkeley's Dean of Students, a detailed Q&A section including qualifications for participating in recruitment, and Panhellenic's substance-free policy. - What is the Omega chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta's policy on letters of reference for recruitment?
The Omega chapter welcomes letters of reference from Theta alumna for Potential New Members going through formal recruitment this fall. However, letters are not mandatory.

- Is there some website where I can find out general information about sorority recruitment?
- Why, yes there is! Check out http://www.thesororitylife.com/ .
- My parents would like to find out more about sorority life. Where can they go?
- There's a website called www.sororityparents.com where parents of sorority members blog about their thoughts on their daughters' involvement in Panhellenic sororities. It'd be a great introduction for them to find out what sorority life is like!
