Actress and singer in Bye Bye Birdie, Grumpy Old Men. She starred opposite Elvis Presley in Viva Las Vegas and won 5 Golden Globe awards.
Marjorie Husted, Upsilon/University of Minnesota (1914): Home economist who created the Betty Crocker line
Dian Fossey, Gamma Xi/San Jose State (1953):
First female primatologist. She studied endangered mountain gorillas in Rwanda. Sigourney Weaver portrayed Dian in the 1988 film Gorillas in the Mist.

Victoria Reggie Kennedy, Alpha Phi/Tulane (1975): Attorney and wife of the late Senator Ted Kennedy
Diane Marie Disney and Sharon Mae Disney: Walt Disney's daughters - for this reason, Kappa Alpha Theta's symbol (the kite) and flower (the pansy) are featured in the Disney film Mary Poppins. The song "Let's Go Fly A Kite" was dedicated to Theta.

The first woman to be licensed in architecture in California and to graduate from the esteemed Ecole Des Beaux-Arts in Paris. She is a California Hall of Fame inductee who designed over 800 buildings including:
